Our paper is working on an article on the race track and I've been assigned to come to the track tonight(weather permitting) to take some photos. I'd prefer to find some local modified and late model racers to feature in the photos. Can anyone name some of the drivers who are local to the Jefferson County area? I've been super busy and am not real sure who has been a regular at the track this year. Thanks

Scott Weber(4J), Rusty Griffaw(16), Cody Conner(3c), Doug Wood(9), Robby Helms(2) Mike Stuckey(12s), Brett Bennett(11) are all from Festus. Matt Zimmerly(7z) is from Desoto.

In the Latemodels I think Dylan Sharp(80d) is the only one from Hillsboro.

Thanks Crash9, normally I know way ahead of time and have a bit of lead time to research. I knew this was coming but was told it was still weeks off from needing photos, so I'm kind of rushed. I'm going to try and get there early enough to get some time to walk through the pits but have two ball games this afternoon and hopefully they won't run late and weather holds off.

If anyone else can name anymore I'd appreciate it. Are the Hammonds(sp) I think it was a 66 LM still running there? Or Ray Wagner? I can't remember there was another guy from the Arnold area who ran the Shop and Save and special olympics modified? Man I've been away from the track too long.

Wagner hasn't been there the last few weeks. I think they may have had motor issues.

Mark Miner is from Arnold I believe.
Dennis Richards is the Shop & Save mod. He's from Imperial.
Danny Ems from Arnold.
Matt Hancock from Hillsboro.
Joe McCain Has a towing business there in Herculaneum.
Timmy Hollerbach From Imperial.
Ricky Horton from Fenton do beleive.

Just to name a few.

please read the personal message I've sent to you:D

Well I got to see hot laps and a lot of lightening and then rain. So I will likely be back again next week. Track looked good before the skies opened up.
