Hey,

Where was everyone Saturday Night?????

I was very surprised on the fan count last night. I though it was not a great turnout for this show. I thought the stands will be at capacity by 7:30, it didn't happen.

Is everyone running out of money? Is $22.00 too much for a $5,000 race? Was there something else going on that weekend?

You had some great late models drivers with impressive resumes there last night. Great Late Model Feature!!!

Two Questions:

What driver's did you think would be there, but wasn't?

What the heck was going on in the stands that led to security escorting a shirtless fan out the gate in turn one?

Hey,

Where was everyone Saturday Night?????

There was a Cardinal Game, Rams Game, Bristol Night Race, The "Boss" was in town for a concert. It was a busy Saturday.

Actually didn't bother me any, I had more room to spread out. :p

We stayed home to watch the Bristol Race, but to hear it was $22 to get in. Crazy how Tri-City can have a $10,000 to win and only charge $3 more. Hmmmm......

The guy that was tossed out of the races was caught giving his baby a bottle of juice!!!!word on the street is he smuggled it in....:D

I imagine the threat of rain, along with the several other events going on that night contributed to the low count in the stands. However, the racin' was still awesome!!

The person that was tossed out was loudly using the N word instead of saying Troy Naeger. Then he proceeded to use the same word to the security guard.

Ahh - I see. Sometimes people forget that purchasing a ticket and tall boys does not equal saying anything you want in public.

Homer-isms

Why do some people live by this philosphy???

'Marge, this ticket doesn't just give me a seat, it gives me the right, no duty, to make a complete a s s of myself.'
> Homer Simpson

I apoligize for being o-fensive to the ladies.

I have only once seen Lisa come close to bouncing someone in my limited times with her - of couse the person was in her space barking noise at a friend of hers.

$22 for a $5000 to win show is a little pricey when compared to some of the other events that take place through the year at other tracks. when you think about lucas oil speedway in wheatland only charging $27 to get in to the $40,000 to win diamond nationals and see all but time trials. eldora charging $38 for general admission for 2 days at the $100,000 to win dream(eldoras in a league of its own and maybe shouldnt be used for this comparison). and last week batesville only charged $30 for the complete one night topless 100 show that payed 25,000 to win, makes $22 for a $5000 show seem out of sight. just my opinion

That's true - But, here's the thing too. I-55 doesn't gouge you overall. Regular race nights are cheap tickets and kids 12 and under are free. You can also see how the money goes back into the track. It get improements every season. I can understand the travelers not paying $22 for the event, but I though more local fans would be there. MARS/UMP always seem to put on a good show.

Oh, that was me being drunk again...I wasn't doing anything stupid was I? I don't remember anything.:D

Before you come back, maybe you need to practice your driver's names. Keeping your shirt on will probably atract less attention as well.

I'll remember that next time. :p

P.S. Just a joke, that really wasn't me. I stay clean by sitting on the front stretch, not in the turns. :D Plus, you don't want to see me without a shirt...YIKES!!!

Tell me this, why do people sit in the turns. You can barely see through the fence and you get caked with dust. I'm not complaining, I just want to know why.
