If you have not been to one of these events, then you don't understand the format. It is not anything like a regular night's format. They run heat races and then get the cars into the feature from semi's and they must advance though the semi's to get to the feature. Heat race winner's move to the feature.

Ask Scott Weber about the format. The first year he worked his way though the semis.
