I-55 Raceway is DEFINITELY RACING tonight!!

Ray Marler just called and it is a GO!

The UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals are on tonight at I-55 Raceway!

All gates open at 4pm!! Adult grandstand admission is $25 with kids 12 and under FREE.

Pit passes are $35...

$10,000 to win Late Models, $1,000 to win UMP Modifieds, $400 to win UMP Sportsman and Pro 4 Stocks!
 
WOW! Now that is a hell of a price to pay to sit in the stands, little own the pit gate price. I don't care if it is the "Summer Nationals" that is outragous.

A buddy of mine talked to Ray Marler this morning physically at the track. There's water on the road, but it's dropping an inch an hour, it's not that deep, and the road is open. More than likely, they're going to use the upper pit entrance, as well. But everything is a go for tonight.
 
35 dollars isnt bad to watch the best in the business. clarksville tn charged 40 bucks for a pit pass.

No doubt! With the costs of everything we do now days 25 dollars to see the summer nationals at I55 is ALOT of bang for your bucks. No way i'd miss it and i can't wait to see it. jmo:cool:
 
So why is there water on the road? Live about 2 1/2 hours away....Just wondering why it is getting flooded?

Because the Mississippi River is so high from all the moisture the Mid West has had. The river rises and then it has to go some where and there is a creek right there that it backs up to. Water rises and you have problems. Happens all the time and this is the second time this year that it has caused problems for I-55.
 
ahhhh. live in west ky, river gets out in the bottoms....best duck hunting in the US..either way, on our way!!!!

now don't quote me on this I"M saying what sue told me this morning this is what she said they will come in through the spectator lot go up towards the track go down the hill on that little dirt rd. go by the kart track and back around that is a little weird to me when it would be much easier to use the upper pit entrance but that is what she said.
 
on the side of the road that your on when you go in on the main rd. about 1 1/2 in. of water as of 3:35 no big deal come on down!!!
