I-55 Raceway....

BIRKY!!!
Since everyone is always so quick to bash a track when the racing isn't good, I'd like to flip that frown upside-down and say:

WAY TO GO I-55!!!!

Great racing, good car counts, and a decent crowd on hand as well.

It was a great show and everything ran promptly..

Races started at 7pm and the final checkered flag flew just before 10:30pm..

I thought the program was ran smoothly and prompt!!! But I don't really call one lane follow the leader on the bottom great racing and great track conditions... Not bitching or complaining just saying they could have spend 10-20 mins and made it better for the features but that's just my opinion but I was just happy to finally be back racing after a long winter lol...

I wasn't there but my nephew was now he told me what he seen was almost a perfect track and lots of passing for the lead in the late models I would call that good racing

Ray said he wasn't gonna put much water on the track because of some soft spots in the track. I think the track was pretty decent, if there would have been a bit of a cushion to lean on it would have been perfect. I love a good slick track.

I thought Manville & Johns had a great battle for the lead. Manville wasn't running the bottom very much.. He was middle to top..

In the mods, no one had anything for Michael Long.. But I do believe he came from the back to the front in the heat race using the top..
