Really? You have 2xx something posts? Everyone has to start somewhere, sorry I don't sit on my computer all day.
I posted this because I have never had to complain about anything up until this point? The Officials are usually all over the drivers when they get out of there car, everyone knows this and sees this week in and week out. I shouldn't have focused so much on the cussing, it was more that they let him act a fool out there and just stood by and watched. The whole situation could have turned into a brawl, most other people would take advantage of the officials standing by and got out of there car. This driver didn't, he was probably thinking 'the guy just tore up my car and now they are letting him come at me, what is this'.
That is what this is about, my sons talks every week about how he wants to race. Then, when this happens, all of his attention is focused. As is anyone else, I get that. But honestly, I don't want him to think this is all ok, would any of you condone your son to think this is ok? At the same time, you are right, I do parent my kids not to talk or act like that. Come on though, they are little sponges and they remember EVERYTHING, things we think they have forgotten about, nope they didn't! They store it in there cute little brains for later, right when they think they need to recall, oh crap, there is that thing we didn't want them to learn. All I am saying.
Also, like every one is stating, Fair is Fair, first offense or not he should have had to sit out the feature, at minimum..

You are correct, car 327 did go up on car 36, he was squirming coming off of car 36 and that caused him to bump into car 7. From the stands it looked like he got car 7. My bad..
As far as a video tell me where I can buy and I will do so. I watched a video on youtube, not the best due to the mud. It does show that when Medley took out the 7 car the 18 car and Medley hit.

The point to all of this that Medley got away with making a butt of himself. If you, again, look at the pics he had NO REASON to get in the window of the 7 car. He had his helmet off before Medley got up on his window and starting yelling at him, so he could hear him. He just didn't like that the driver of the 7 car could careless what he had to say, it was Medleys fault.
As your Allied Auto Racing Rule States:
GENERAL RULES
9. Driver may not exit the car on the track to discuss a situation with anyone. Violation of this rule WILL result in disqualification for the remaining events and a suspension may be assessed if deemed appropriate by the officials.
Did this happen, no! Why not? If he would have exited his car to walk off the track, no big deal, but he didn't do just that.. If your racing for points, don't drive like an asshole, pretty straight forward.

Where is this meeting held and when? I was told by Marler that I could attend to argue the facts.. But then he changed it to, we only have the meetings once a month and they had it last week!

I can tell you how it will go without being there. Allied will continue to not be consistent or follow their rules because they only apply when they see fit. Even in black and white, they obviously won't follow them. There are many people who refuse to race at Pevely or Belleville because Allied officiates. Pevely can't afford to have any lower of a car count.

Funny because I was told that Don Odum broke up the two of them, something seems a little fishy? I think I smell a liar??

I can tell you how it would go if it were me and probably 99% of the people if someone bad mouthed me for 4 days and counting then came to a meeting..... I tell them to piss up a pole!!!!! Maybe the person should have tried going to the meeting 1st to see if something would happen. But it's easier to just run off at the mouth on here. This happened in the heat race so there was a lot of time before the feature to inquire if Mr. Medley would be allowed to race anymore that night. There might very well be those who chose not to race allied track. But I know those who refuse to race TCS and Highland also. Probably not a track around someone doesn't refuse to race. As far as car counts? There's not a track in STL setting the world on fire this year with over flowing cc's..

I guess this is why Allied tracks consistantly pull better car counts than most area tracks...
Car counts are down EVERYWHERE due to the economy... yet, Belle-Claire and I-55 are still able to run a top-notch show week in and week out.
Once again, for an Association to be in existance as long as Allied has (over 40 years), they must be doing something right.
You b!tchers and moaners... if you don't like it... then why do you keep going? I have asked that question MANY MANY times on here but NO ONE ever answers. Please, someone! If you hate Allied SO MUCH... why do you keep going to tracks that they sanction? Go somewhere else and get a better value, better action, and a better run show than what they provide.
I-55 has gotten rid of Allied before... and they damn near went bankrupt. They enlisted the pockets of Schrader... and Schrader (along with Marler) leased the track for several years before purchasing it. One stipulation by Schrader was that Allied would return.
Belle-Claire went a few years without Allied as well and they damn near closed down. Allied went to Tri-City on friday nights and ran a great show for Mr. Wente.
But that's ok... it's much easier to sit behind your keybaords rather than get involved. Put up the money, become a member... most importantly, become a voting member! Take action rather than spew words.
Allied is an organization that was formed BY DRIVERS for the drivers. At the time they were formed, there were alot of money grabbing promoters out there that were writing bad checks and not paying purses as promised. The drivers got together, formed a set of rules and then shopped around for tracks that would accept their organization. They have done so quite successfully for over 40 years!
Look at NASCAR. They have some of the boringest races ever. NASCAR has ruined the sport. Cookie cutter cars, restrictor plates, and a strict behavior policy. Think back to when NASCAR was actually fun to watch. Dale Sr., Ricky Rudd and Rusty Wallace bumping their way and hitting the grass on the road courses. Bobby Allison and Cale Yarborough getting in a fight on the last lap of the first televised Daytona 500. Fights (verbal or physical) have always been a part of racing. Same with Hockey and same with baseball (as I eluded to in an earlier post).
I guess you guys are looking for NASCAR on dirt. How boring would THAT be?
I don't condone Medley's actions at all. But I understand them. They are part of the sport. You take that away and you have your typical NASCAR race but on dirt. NO THANK YOU!

I personally love the antics that go on. What bothers me is not abiding by their own rules. If a driver gets heated and throws a fit or fights or purposely takes a car out, it's usually good for the fans! But that driver should know there are consequenses and they should always be applied. The 7 is a new driver to that track. Wouldn't you think with the low car counts everywhere that i55 would want him to feel welcome and to keep coming back? Even if he doesn't set the world on fire, it adds to car count, pit pass money for the track, and more fans in the stands to support that car. Instead i55 basically told him to p*ss up a pole and deal with it!

Troy was only reaching in to shut off the guys engine, the number 7 was obviously in shambles...Troy wanted to make sure the New driver heard every word he was saying....As far as all the kids hearing crap I agree with 28j but..........there isnt 1 kid in any of the pictures shown but i couldnt see if there was a car seat in the #7...as far as breaking rules and getting by with it then Allied should of banned me over 20 yrs ago....This kind of crap put smiles on fans faces " look at all the photo's" even a driver looks amused by the excitement.......this kind of crap even puts a smile on Jimmy's face because it brings hits to his website.
Allied has been good to me and my Brother over the past twenty five years....thats why schrader hired them, not because of us but because they have been great to him in his racing career when he ran back in the old days.All Allied is doing is trying to pacify hundred's of different personality's with helmets on and make a good show for thousands of fans on a weekly basis. You guys have no clue to how hard this is to do.
Like I said this is Racing....it was a racing deal period....crap happens, keep up the drama for Jimmy's sake but as far as I-55 drivers and allied its a huge family and probly one of the best in the world...just wish we could of passed a helmet around to gather enough cash to of helped pay the fuel cost for the haulers for Rusty and a couple other of our fast car's to take there mod's to Deer creek for that 25k this weekend to represent the I-55 Famliy...
" I used Rusty name because he had mentioned in another post he was in need of fuel to get there" and the fact that i am one of his fan's and lastly thought this would of been a good side to positive Drama by us fans sending our best drivers to huge events.Tim Smith

There are rules to follow, plain and simple. Now someone's car is all jacked up and they are not going to hold anyone responsible, really? Just let the baby continue, can't make him mad.. Someone running there mouth for 4 days because it is complete bull**** that nothing is being done! I asked before the feature why wasn't something being done, they all said 'We didn't see anything'. The president of Allied lied straight to my face, wow, that is a great organization! I was in no way Saturday night hiding my inquiry into what happened. I really don't care what people think of me or think about what I am doing on here if you are on the Golden Boys team.

I think what sent Troy over the edge to have a closer meeting was the fact that the 7 car did put his car in reverse. He tried to back off troys cars creating more damage. Maybe next week the 7 car wont drive over his head and be able to maintain a line to keep any future altercations.
