Gang,

Can anyone recommend a good machine/engine shop? I am looking for one that would not be intimidated doing general machining on a diesel block (Line bore, hone, MAYBE splayed caps, balance and etc.)

I melted down a piston in the Big Blue Truck (too much fuel, not enough boost and EGT's through the roof will do it every time), and I figured that seeing how I got to rebuild it, I might have some upgrades done while I am at it :D

Part Stop in Meadowbrook, il does a lot of "odd" engines and I'm pretty sure the do tractor engines (deisel) so they could probably do it for you. Call 618-377-5238 and ask for Claude.
 
Mark Lueck at Authorized Auto in Wood River..redone a kabota engine for me..and treated me right! Also..does all my driveshaft and engine prep work. 618-254-4378.
