THE ILLINOIS VALLEY CELLULAR STREET STOCK RACING SERIES TO INVADE LOCAL TRACKS IN '06
JANUARY 11, 2006 --- LaSalle Speedway is proud to introduce the Illinois Valley Cellular Street Stock Racing Series. Illinois Valley Cellular will be the title sponsor for a 6 race series which will be invading the Illinois Valley Area. LaSalle Speedway and Bureau County Speedway have made many compromises to team up for the series to come. The newly reformed street stock division will be faster, more competitive, and better looking than ever before. Each speedway will host 3 events challenging the drivers on two very different race tracks. These races will be spread throughout the year with one race every month alternating race tracks.
The Illinois Valley Cellular Street Stock Racing Series will be offering local grassroots race car drivers' unprecedented amount of benefits. The drivers will compete for $500 to win at each event and over $10,000 dollars in prize money. There will be many other awards such as racing product sponsorship, best appearing car in the series, and fan favorite driver of the series. Points will be collected and drivers will compete to be crowned the inaugural "Illinois Valley Cellular Street Stock Racing Series Champion". The series will be kicking off at Bureau County Speedway on May 19th and the points champion will be crowned on September 16th at LaSalle Speedway.
