IMCA LateModels Scheduled at Lebanon Midway Friday Night

Lebanon,Mo.-LateModel Racing will return this week at the Lebanon Midway Speedway as the IMCA Spec LateModels will make there only scheduled appreance of the 2004 Racing Season.

With the season long National points battle,now over with,the IMCA Latemodel type cars will venture to a new place on Friday night.

"Some of these drivers have run our open shows,and we feel it would be great for them to race within the normal rules they run under" quoted track owner Harold Armstrong.They will put on a good racing show for our fans.

The IMCA LateModel is to help cut the cost in LateModel Racing using a uniform type of rules.Open cars can also run,but there are some changes they have to do to run with them.

Also Racing on the Card to start the Labor Day Weekend will be the Mighty Modifieds,SuperStocks,FactoryStocks,Bombers, and mini-Stocks.Gates will open at 5PM with hotlaps around 7:25 and Racing at 8PM.

The Speedway has also anounced that they plan on running through the month of Sept. and have scheduled an Enduro race to help close out the first season on the Midway.3-4 other classes will be running and it has been released that on that final night Sept 24,that the Mini-Stocks wil be racing for 500 to win providing that they have already ran at least twice in regular season competition at the Speedway.The other classes will be released with the next week that will be on the final race of the season.
