Info for Fayette County Speedway big show October 15th-17th

Attention Hornets ... We're hearing some of you don't want to run the 'big' show this weekend. Is there enough interest to run the 'big show' as well as a full additional Hornet show this weekend? Let us know!

Whats the reason for this?

Is there enough interest to run the 'big show - with the entry fee' as well as run an additional show for cars that don't think they'll be competitive in the big show. Drivers must choose which show they'll run at the draw window.

Had several people asking what the payout is for the Modifieds each day as well....

The way I see it, if the Hornet's are scared to run with the big boys, they should go somewhere else. There's no need for the track to dish out more money, just because some guys are scared of competition. jmo

There seems to be a LOT of feedback regarding the Hornets this weekend.

IF you want to run the big show with an entry fee let us know at the draw window. We'll sign you up for that show.

IF, however, you want to run a single-day show each day with normal Hornet payout let us know when you draw.

This will allow everyone (including cars that have supported Fayette County Speedway all season) a chance to race competitively this weekend.

Looking forward to a great weekend of racing!!!!

Can we assume racing will start at 4:00 on Sat.
and 3:00 on Sun.

After Hot Laps at 3:00 on Saturday we will move into qualifying for the 2-day shows for Hornets and Street Stocks. Racing will begin following qualifying.

Sunday's program would start immediately following Hot Laps, which would probably be around 3ish, but that would depend on the number of cars in attendance hot lapping.

I know that's a loosely defined schedule, but the best I can provide at this time.

Thanks!

Leigh Ann
