Weather permitting I would like to go to the SN in Lincoln. Can anyone give me an idea how far it is time wise from highland? Cost of tickets? Start time? I tried the link under illinois tracks for Lincoln and didnt get anywhere. I called the number 217-482-5203 and got an answering machine but no indication it was the speedway. any info is appreciated.

hot laps at 6, time trials at 6:30
take the first Lincoln exit from I-55 after you get in town (about 2 miles) fairgrounds is on the right
That would be exit #123 I think, so from Highland, you are looking at almost 100 miles....just short of 2 hours driving legally:D

I really don't have an opinion on the track yet, been about 48 years since my last visit....too young to remember that one.....the promoters are great people who dearly love racing. I have heard a LOT of great things about the track and the fairgrounds. I might make my first real visit tomorrow myself. It's only a 45 minute drive for me. I'll be the one wearing the MidwestDirtTrackfacts.com t-shirt.... stop me and introduce yourself.... that is the promoters car below....although he is tooo busy to race at his own tracks...:D
