Informational and Rules meeting for Paducah International Raceway

Fastrak 06 Points explanation and Cash amounts
Weekly:
You are only scored points at the track you are registered with. If you choose to register with a Friday and Saturday night track then you pay membership for both tracks. You are only doubling your chances for the points you take to the nationals. POINTS ARE NOT COMBINED. This will take out someone running three nights a week against you and therefore gaining a unfair advantage. Best 18 races and drop the rest. Anyone that runs at least 51% of the races at a weekly track is automatically invited to the National Championship. For instance if a track runs 30 races you have to race 16(51%)

Touring:
Touring regions are based on 14 points races. Therefore you would only have to run 7 events to be qualified to come to the National Championship. Touring races will be based on $2000 to win and $200 to start.

Alternate Points:
As to protect weekly teams from losing National points any team that comes to a touring race will automatically be scored in their finishing position in the alternate points system. That team will not lose their points by participating in Touring races.

Points system:
25,24 23 and so forth. Anyone attempting to qualify or race will automatically be awarded 1 point.

Weekly or Touring Points awards:
1st 3, 2nd 2, 3rd 1. Anyone that has run 51% of the races is qualified and has 1 point. Any team that has run every race recives 2 loyalty points. These are the points you bring to the National Championship with you.

Weekly teams coming to a touring race will be scored as at their weekly track and not lose loyalty points or track points.

All points end on Sept 30th. Championship October 12 th-14th. 12th: $2000 to win $200 to start, 13th $2500 to win $250 to start, 14th $5000 to win, $500 to start!!!

Someone leaves with $50,000.00 in cash.

Points Banquet scheduled for October 28th(providing it does not conflict with any major events)

State Champions and Touring Champions will be awarded jackets and 5 foot trophies for these awards. (Look for this to be upgraded very soon). Just stating the facts as they are as of today!

Membership Fees:
$95.00 for the year. Yep thats it!!! If you choose to sign up for more than one track or Tour thats your choice. You are only doubling your chances. Again points are not combined!!

Points will be posted by Thursday of every week on the www.fastrakracing.com web site.

National Championship will be in either KY or TN. Yes I know where it is but will not publish it until July of 2006. Lets just say its "neutral territory".

The entire goal here is to not make you travel but one time a year to race for a National Championship.

Thanks everyone. We hope to see you there and sincerely appreciate you considering Fastrak as your place to race in 2006. A special thanks to the tracks and teams that have worked with us for the last two years. Without you none of this would have been possible.

Fastrak Reduces Membership fees for all teams!!!
For Immediate Release
Headquarters Carnesville GA
12/12/05

In the day of things being more expensive the Fastrak Racing Series has once again set the pace by reducing membership fees for all Fastrak teams.

Series Founder Stan Lester was quoted in saying that with the prices of fuel and almost everything being more expensive now, we can at least give the Fastrak Members a break with fees we charge.

In 2004 our fee was $500.00. 2005 it went down to $400.00 and for 2006 it was reduced to only $95.00. I promised our teams from day one this fee would continue to go down and probably level off in 2006. The response from all the teams out there is that they want to run at least one track and in most cases more than one. In order to help the teams as much as we can we have decided to reduce the fees for anyone wanting to run multiple tracks and or a Touring Region.

Fees: 1 track or Touring Region $95.00, 2 or more $150.00 and 3 $200.00.
I hope this is a benefit to our teams and also to our "weekly sanctioned" tracks. I want to thank everyone for their enthuiasam and support for the series.

06 Membership forms should be on the web site by next week and the weekly sanctioned tracks will be able to take them and also all Touring events.

Just to clarify. It is up to each track to choose what tire rule they want run for there weekly show under the Fastrak weekly sanction.

Thanks for your support!!

C.A.R.S. General Information

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about the Crate American Racing Series (C.A.R.S.). A newly formed, non-touring, Late Model weekly racing series, utilizing G.M. Performance Parts Crate Engines.

C.A.R.S. was formed by a group of area track promoters, car owners, and track officials who realized the need for an economical solution to today’s rising cost of racing. We are a group dedicated to doing something about it!

C.A.R.S. will provide a GUARANTEED $10,000.00 to win ALL CASH PRIZE plus a NEW C.J. Rayburn Chassis, a New Bert Ball Spline Transmission & more for the 2006 C.A.R.S. Weekly Racing Series Late Model National Champion.

For the convenience of you, the weekly racer, C.A.R.S. utilizes current Late Model car and body rules. The ONLY significant difference is what’s under the hood. C.A.R.S. Late Models use the GM Performance Parts 602 or 604 Circle Track Racing Engines. A substantial savings for the budget racers over today’s cost of current Late Model and even Modified engines.

Hoosier Tire will add even more value to your program by providing a hard compound spec tire, the WRS-2-55, with no grooving or siping allowed.

Our rules create a closeness of competition that makes the C.A.R.S. Weekly Racing Series exciting and affordable to compete in.

An annual $65.00 competition driver’s license will allow you to compete at ANY C.A.R.S. Weekly Racing Series Track and earn weekly points.

We have been in contact with area promoters and many have expressed interest in running the C.A.R.S. Weekly Racing Series.

Are you interested in racing an affordable Late Model Class? Help us let these Promoters know who is looking to participate in our series. Become more informed about the C.A.R.S. Weekly Racing Series, our awards programs, and the goals of our association for you the racer.

We want to hear from you!

If you would like to attend an informational meeting in your area and be a part of the fastest growing class to hit dirt stock car racing in years, please contact us, and please tell your fellow racers who might be interested!
