PITTSBURGH, PA ---The popular racing radio show, THE INSIDE TRACK, broadcast over WPTT 1360 AM out of Pittsburgh, PA, and over the internet at www.1360wptt.com, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, will be a busy program this Sunday morning, as host DJ Johnson and co-host Bill Korch welcome one of dirt Late Model racing’s hottest stars, Shannon Babb of Moweaqua,IL, who recently stunned the dirt racing world when he captured Carl Short’s 22nd Annual DIRT TRACK WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP at Bluegrass Speedway in Kentucky. Babb’s win, in front of a record-setting crowd, earned the popular young star $50,000.
Babb, who drives the CJ Rayburn #18 owned by Bill Moyer and sponsored by Petroff Towing, CJ Rayburn, Billy Moyer Racing and Hoosier Racing Tires, is just shy of 29 years old and has taken the dirt Late Model world by storm the past couple seasons.
Also featured this Sunday morning on THE INSIDE TRACK will be Bill Bailey, owner of Bailey Performance Products who will discuss their open house scheduled for November 9 & 10. Bailey Performance Products supplies Sprint Car teams and Bailey is a long time fixture in the sport. The business will be giving away a new Maxim Chassis as a special promotion for their business.
In addition, listeners will have a chance to hear all of the latest news and results in dirt track racing from the local, regional and national tracks, teams and sanctions.
