Is anyone doing updates from i-55

Geez.. They had the late models second in order because they had to qualify. They couldn't very well qualify and then come out and run their heats.

Then I-55 usually runs the Pro 4's feature first because the other classes have semi features and this gives them just a few more minutes to get ready.

So the late models ended up running after the Pro 4's and Sportsman. Unfortunately the Sportsman had a few too many cautions and was long.

Kreke almost flip in turn 1 & 2 and did a great job saving it in the heat races, then they started running the mods and that when they brought out the tractors to work on the track.I for one was very happy that they did work on the track and was it racey the rest of the night. Hats off to I-55 for giving us the best show that was possible and I didnt get home until 2 am and had to get up to go to work at 4am but it was worth it. Chris , I hope you feel better and was able to get your car back together. That was a hard wreck and Zimmerely was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. He too did a great job trying to avoid the wreck and he stayed out after flipping it and still had a car that could compete with the rest. As a fan ,the track and drivers put on the great show and my son and I thank you.........

I sure wished I could have been there last night. Sounds like a great race. Not being a driver or do the work involving track prep, I feel Ray does a wonderful job and does his best to make sure the track is not a one groove track. No one likes watching follow leader racing. I have been to a few other tracks that remind me of off road racing instead of our dirt ovals. We are very fortunate to have a great selection of tracks to attend in our area, and have chatted with folks from a few other states and they agree we are fortunate to have great dirt racing. I for one commend Ray for all the hard work he puts into the shows each and every week. I sure as heck wouldn't want his job. Things don't always goes as planned and delays will happen, BUT AT LEAST WE'RE RACING and that's what counts! The drivers are there for the sport and the money, if they feel something isn't right they will not return and go to another track. Thanks to all the drivers, owners and promoters in our area for the great racing.
