Fireball, for a person like myself who has a large collection of old auto racing books. Youtube is like a dream come true. The amount of old racing footage posted is fantastic. Something called the History of Motor Racing (British) covers racing from it's earliest days. Almost every Indy 500 is covered. Even when I started going to races with my parents, one now only appreciates the dangers of open cockpit, no roll bar or minimal roll bar under the drivers head. Also what you don't see in those days is kids or even young men driving those cars. To get a ride you had to earn it.
