Jackson 100 Part of ASi Racewear Crown Jewel Cup - Presented by DirtonDirt.com This Weekend
WAYCROSS, GA (September 17, 2014) – This weekend’s Jackson 100 in Brownstown IN is part of the ASi Racewear Crown Jewel Cup - Presented by Dirtondirt.com point standings. Not only will the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series drivers be vying for the $20,000 first place prize money this weekend but also earning valuable points towards the Crown Jewel Cup and the $10,000 bonus at the year end awards banquet.
The ASi Racewear Crown Jewel Cup - Presented by Dirtondirt.com program will award points to drivers at the nine (9) crown jewel cup races, within the series schedule, that pay more than $10,000 to win. The driver that maintains perfect attendance throughout the season and earns the most points within these nine races will receive a $10,000 bonus at the championship awards banquet. Drivers finishing second and third in the CJC points will also receive cash awards, compliments of DirtonDirt.com.
With six of the nine events completed within the Crown Jewel Cup races this year, Jimmy Owens holds a slim 20 point lead over Don O’Neal in the chase for the ASi Crown Jewel Cup –Presented by Dirtondirt.com.
