Jacksonville Speedway will be racing this Friday night, August 3rd with Crate Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks, Hornets and Micros. The Street Stock make-up feature from last Friday will also be held with the line-ups for that feature already set. Street Stocks will also have a new, full program Friday as well.
Payouts are at www.jacksonvillespeedway.com. This show a deviation from our "Big Shows Only" plan, but we want to give it a shot to give our local racers more nights to race following the success of some of our bigger shows this season. Common wisdom says that fans don't show up at Jacksonville without sprint cars on the card. With good support for a show like this, we can do it more often going forward.
Pit gates open at 4:00, Pill Draw closes at 6:00, Hot Laps at 6:15 and racing at 7:00
Grandstand admission is $12. Children 12 and under are free. Pit passes $25
As many of you know, the City of Jacksonville has a mandatory water restriction in place that restricts water usage during certain hours. We have plan in place to haul water to meet our much of our water needs at the track and do not think that it will seriously impact the show.
