I would guess that it means that they'll have to think about taking off the wings and heading to Indiana to run.
I just wonder how many LMs J-ville will get with Tri City and Farmer City running on Fridays. And aren't most of the LMs in West Central Illinois and South Eastern Iowa more of the IMCA spec engine rule variety?
I also wonder what they'll run for support classes. Mods would be the obvious choice for one support class. But what about the third class? Jacksonville treated the micros like crap so they could have plausible deniabillity when they dropped them this season. But how many pony stocks (hornets) did they get weekly? I know they barely had a dozen this past Friday.
From what I heard at Jacksonville on Friday night is that they are going to run UMP late models, UMP street stocks and UMP modifieds plus hornets. The hornets actually had their lowest car count of the year of 16 (a little more than a dozen) on friday. By my math 16 is still 10 cars more than the micros brought in on their best night. Plus Farmers City had a $1,500 to win show on Friday where they had 92 hornets. I would say that the hornets probably averaged somewhere around 24 or 25 cars per night.
