Marion, Arkansas (04/20/10) –Jan Howard picked up another top five finish over the weekend as he competed in the Weekly Racing Series Event at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas against a stout field of competitors.
Jan was behind the wheel of the #46 Stinson Industrial/Brim’s Snack Foods/J&J Sprint Car on Saturday night at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas in a Weekly Racing Series Event. Twenty-five entries entered the event, and Jan started his evening by advancing from the 4th starting position in a heat race to a second place finish to ink himself into the 5th starting spot for the feature event. He would battle throughout the top five during the course of the feature, but would ultimately register a 5th place finish behind event winner, Matt Covington, Brad Bowden, Marshall Skinner, and A.G. Rains.
This weekend, April 23rd-24th, Jan is slated to return to action at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas in a pair of Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) events.
