We knew this day was coming fast but I really wish Jeff could have stayed around for a few more seasons. He was so devoted to the sport of racing and Belle Clair Speedway. And, he could recite all the facts and stats about his brother's racing career at the blink of an eye.

Brian & Candi, if I can do anything to help, pleae let me know.

My heartfelt sympathy to you and your families.

I 'm not feeling real good right now Jeff was one my buddies and dear friends I 've known Jeff since the mid 80s what a truly great guy . I remember him and Bob Agne having a good time at the track man now both are gone I 'm kinda at a loss for words

R.I.P Jeff. I meet Jeff on one of my bowling leagues and got to know him. We talked more about racing than bowling, but what a true loss of a nice person. Prayers and thoughts go out to all the family from the RJM Race Team. He will be missed!!

I have known Jeff 30 years. This is a major loss to the racing community, I will miss him. I will miss him on a good night telling me way to go with a smile and a thumbs up and on a bad night telling me you will get em next time. He was a friend and a fan , and I hope he knows how much of a fan of his I was and am. Deepest sympathy to the entire family.

I will always remember Jeff as a very passionate fan of racing. The grandstands in turn one at Belleclair Speedway just won't be the same anymore. Now Jeff will have a bird's eye view of the races. There's no doubt in my mind that he will be watching.

did you guys know that jeff was in the Ill high school hall of fame as a score keeper for many sports ,and turn 1 at belle claire just won't be the same anymore

To everyone in the Eaves family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Jeff was one of the the good guys and will be missed by all that knew him.

I'm a newbe compared to most of you on this forum. I have been involved in motorsports, racing and spectating all my life. When I climbed up those steep grandstands at Belle-Clare for the first time, I sat next to this fellow taking notes. He looked over and said, "Hi, I'm Jeff Eaves... you're new here?" and stuck out his hand. Midwest hospitably at it's best. I am proud to be able to call him my friend. May you rest in peace Jeff, the lives you touched are the better for it.
