Jeff Taylor Set For 17th Annual Topless 100

Jonesboro, Arkansas (8/12/09) – Jeff Taylor is set for a busy weekend, which will see him pulling double duty at the 17th Annual COMP Cams Topless 100 at Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas.

Jeff will be eyeing his first ever COMP Cams Topless 100 title this weekend as he goes into battle in his #5 Rick Lovelady Carpets/Provence Construction/Mesilla Valley Transportation/Larry Shaw Race Car/Keith Craft Racing Engine Super Late Model at Batesville Motor Speedway this weekend. Taylor has been close to claiming the crown jewel in year’s past as he has led several laps in the mega-event. Jeff’s bid at the 2009 crown gets underway with an Open Practice Session on Thursday night, August 13th. On Friday, August 14th time trials and heat race action will be on tap. Saturday, August 15th will see b-mains and the 100 lap main event. The Speed TV cameras will be on hand taping all of the Lucas Oil Late Model Series racing action for a future airing. Dominic Ursetta rolled on with his domination at I-76 Speedway winning his eighth feature event on Saturday night, August 8th in his #6U Taylor Chassis/ Dave Capriotti Racing Engines Open Wheel Modified. Teammate, Eddie Belec Jr., ran third in his #3B Taylor Chassis/ Dave Capriotti Racing Engines Open Wheel Modified.

Blake Burns drove his #37 Taylor Chassis to the feature win on Friday night, August 7th at the brand new Thunder City Speedway in Doniphan, Missouri.

Chris Smith powered his way to the Open Wheel Modified feature win on Saturday night, August 1st at Deep South Speedway in Loxley, Alabama in his Taylor Chassis.

Lucas Lee won the Open Wheel Modified feature on Friday night, July 31st at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri in his Taylor Chassis!
