Jonesboro, Arkansas (8/12/09) – Jeff Taylor is set for a busy weekend, which will see him pulling double duty at the 17th Annual COMP Cams Topless 100 at Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas.
Jeff will be eyeing his first ever COMP Cams Topless 100 title this weekend as he goes into battle in his #5 Rick Lovelady Carpets/Provence Construction/Mesilla Valley Transportation/Larry Shaw Race Car/Keith Craft Racing Engine Super Late Model at Batesville Motor Speedway this weekend. Taylor has been close to claiming the crown jewel in year’s past as he has led several laps in the mega-event. Jeff’s bid at the 2009 crown gets underway with an Open Practice Session on Thursday night, August 13th. On Friday, August 14th time trials and heat race action will be on tap. Saturday, August 15th will see b-mains and the 100 lap main event. The Speed TV cameras will be on hand taping all of the Lucas Oil Late Model Series racing action for a future airing.
