Jonesboro, Arkansas (4/16/09) – Jeff Taylor picked up a pair of top five finishes over the weekend as several of his customers also enjoyed considerable success.
Taylor Motorsports planned to compete in three events over the weekend #5 Rick Lovelady Carpets/Provence Construction/Mesilla Valley Transportation/Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified, but heavy rains nixed the program at Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas on Thursday night, April 9th. On Friday night, Jeff finally got the weekend underway and competed in the Open Wheel Modified division at Batesville Motor Speedway. He would race his way to a 3rd place finish against a field of 21 competitors.
On Saturday night, Jeff raced at West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains, Missouri in a Weekly Racing Series event that was presented by Taylor Chassis. In the feature event, he started in the 11th position and charged to a second place finish.
It was another successful weekend for Taylor Chassis customers as two more drivers found their way into victory lane. Jeremy Shaw powered his #1s Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified to the $2,000 feature win on Saturday night, April 11th in the 8th Annual Rebel Challenge at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi.
Jeremy Greenwalt drove his Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified to the feature win on Saturday night, April 11th at St. Francois County Raceway in Farmington, Missouri.
