Jefferson County Results?

Anyone know the results from Jefferson County Speedway?Do they have a web site? Thanks, carbonrator

i spent an hour along with some other drivers trying to straighten out the results of the street stock feature that i finished 3rd in and they still put another car in second on the results but it is a diferent car from what they put in the payout last nite. i hope they dont send this into ump this way or a few of us will get shorted a few points, i liked the track but the payout and finishing order with lapped cars being counted in front of us needs fixed.

Randy i hope u come back had a blast racing with u in the heat race and feature i think if u give them a chance they will get it lined out

i will be back soon and i had a great time in that heat too racing you but i cant be getting home at 4:00a.m. when i have to work the next day either so i hope they can get things moving a little better but other than that i had a great time racing you guys there, good clean racin thats what its all about, thanks for a great night at the track.

Congrats to Kevin Cole, you were awesome to watch coming from 16th to 2nd. I would like to see Riggs loosen up and let you run summer nationals. You are to good a driver to stay on local tracks.

Remember that this was the first show for the crew and it was a holiday night with no other track running in the area. Give them a chance to deal with a regular program and a lot less cars. These cars will not all come back on a regular basis.

this track

this track is a joke they scored lap cars as they crossed the finish line and had no checks for some of the drivers they just need to get it together before they try to open a race track the track was shi+y and they did nothing to fix it

You know, I posted on another thread regarding this, but it bears repeating.

You people would complain if you owned a goat that pooped gold turds. Lifes to short to sweat the little things like this.

Seems I remember the same type of complaining about two years ago when TriCity was taken over by the Gundakers. Now look at the Mecca of Motorsports they have created. Give the new folks at JeffCo a chance to get things ironed out. I'm sure they were overwhelmed at the turnout Sunday, and afterall, it was the first night. You never know, they may surprise you in a few weeks.

On the other hand...Good God Almighty, just be happy to have a place to race on Sunday!

WHEN PEOPLE RACE THE EXPECT TO GET PAID

So what good has it done for you to get on this message board and bad mouth the track?

I don't know what you have done otherwise, but if it were me, I would attempt to talk to the promoter and explain my side of the story. Maybe he can get things straightend out for you. If you already have tried talking to him and it didn't do any good try to look on the bright side...

You took a chance by hauling all the way to MTV with rain threatening. If it would have rained out you would be out your fuel money anyway. You obviously had the money to gamble on that chance or you wouldn't have pulled out of the driveway to start with. Pretend it rained out, write it off as a lesson learned never go back there again and move on with your life.

How much did you not get paid anyway?

r4ce9 i know things wasnt the best but it will get better im sure if u didnt get paid your check will be mailed to u cant say he didnt try he had cars there that wasnt legal he told them they could run that night but not to come back tell they were legal he did that because he didnt want to send any one home i personaly didnt mind the cars runing but it made some pepole mad but hey what do u do u cant make every one happy he tried to make the pepole happy that he could but it looks like he may have tried to make the wrong ones happy also i bet the 20 hornets that wouldent have got paid for not making the feature was happy they got paid he didnt haft to pay the hornets for the b main he could have said guys im taking 18 cars to the feature the wrest go home but he didnt hope no one takes this post negative i like racing with new pepole and i hope the ones that wasnt there come and give it a shot and see how much better things are and i bet u dont see the same mistakes that was maid laast week maid this week its like a race car u have got to adjust on it and it will get better

Whats rightfully yours is rightfully yours, but if 50 bucks was the difference between a good night and a ****ty one, maybe your in the wrong business buddy.

I sent you a personnel message to email the track at mail@jeffersoncountyraceway.com if you didn't get paid and it will get forwarded to the promotors to handle which if you are owned money I'm sure will be handled. If anyone else did recieve there pay please do the same and it will go to the promotors.
I don't answer for the track promotors but I do work for them. We are at this time making changes to try and help you get have a better experience the next time that you visit.
I am going to repley to a few post only not the one's that sound like my 8yr old grandson making a repley.
The scorers at the track have all done the job before they were the crew who ran the tower for K & L Raceway and have worked at other tracks also.
They are a little rusty and mistakes were made and they will learn from them.
Second Teresa was a very good scorer at the track and I will say having been in the tower many many times that I never saw her give any advantage to Rodney but the promoters felt it was best not to have any family members working in an official position that was related to a driver in any class. That is why the change in track personnel. A business decision not a personnel one.
We made mistakes Sunday night all of us we were a little rusty and had a few first night jetters along with 132 cars.
We will do are best to inprove and try make all of you feel good about coming to the raceway. We want to see you all but also know we can't please everyone.
This statement is mine alone and not that of the promoters so if anyone has a problem with what was saiid then direct it to me not the track.

racersedge... nice of you to come on and be honest with your feelings....

I hope that you as well as the Sneeds and other workers of Jefferson Co. try to take some of these posts with a grain of salt....

I too would have been mad or more so aggravated at some of the stuff that happened if I had been there........that is only natural.... checks not being right...getting out so late...........but..... it was the first night for the new promoters.....

You will be fine and the cars will be back as long as you keep improving...and you will.......... hang in there...........we don't want to lose another track...

Thanks to the Sneeds who have put themselves on the line to try and give Mt Vernon new life...... if they improved those bathrooms I will already give them a heads up............... and as far as the dust at Mt Vernon.....everytime I went to Mt. V. I came home with half the track... that is nothing new...... and not the fault of the new management....

I am sure the fans are happy to see the track open again....
Goodluck

I have to ask. My dad took some video of my brother at mt vernon on sunday. who was driving the #95 lighting mcqueen car in the street stock division? my kids seen the video and went crazy over the car.
