Jeremy Coleman crowned ATV Nationals Champion

BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- (Oct. 12, 2003) Fourteen-year-old Jeremy Coleman of Hillsboro was crowned as the overall top eliminator at the 3rd Annual ATV Nationals at Big River Sand Drags on Sunday evening.
Coleman qualified for the elite field of racers when he placed second in the Modified Stock class. He defeated Erica Camden of Bonne Terre in the championship race.
Here are the complete results from the event.
On Saturday, Sarah Lunn of Pacific was the top eliminator and first place winner of the Junior ATV class with Cammie McCann taking second.
In Stock ATV, Chad Jordan of Spring Hill, Mississippi was the first place winner with Nathan Yates second, Andrew Burcham of Park Hills third and Josh Hayes of Pilot Knob fourth.
In Super Modified, Galen Cloud of Elwood, Kansas was the first place winner with Josh Koch of DeSoto second, Robert Gray third and Kyle Bates of Fenton was fourth.
On Sunday, Triston Hillyard was the first place winner in Junior ATV, but it was second place winner Kayla Dickens winning the top eliminator race.
In Modified Stock class, Dale Bates Jr. of Fenton was the champion with Jeremy Coleman second, Jeff Griffin of Pevely third and Josh Hayes of Pilot Knob was fourth.
In the Unlimited class, Erica Camden was the first place winner with John Butler of Oak Grove, Mo. second, Chris Portell of Park Hills was third with Randy Hayes of Pilot Knob fourth.
Racing action at Big River Sand Drags in Bonne Terre will continue Saturday, Oct. 18th for all classes including Open 4x4, Stock Buggy, Off Road Modified, Vehicle ET, Competition Eliminator as well as all the ATV classes.
