Crossville, Tennessee (08/10/17) – Jesse Lowe registered another strong run behind the wheel of his Xtreme Pressure Washing #5j Hampton Backhoe Service/ Gondola Pizza & Steakhouse CVR Race Car on Saturday night at Tazewell Speedway.
The Tennessee racer recorded a runner-up finish in the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) event at the “Bad Fast Taz.”
After Mother Nature wiped out his plans on Friday at Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee), Jesse Lowe made the trip to Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) on Saturday night to do battle with the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA). With 13 entries on hand for the Bad Fast 40, Lowe landed a runner-up finish in the 40-lap feature trailing Jason Trammell across the finish line with Rusty Ballenger, Adam Tolliver, and Kyle Courtney completing the Top-5 finishers.
“Tazewell is a very-challenging race track,” Lowe noted. “Obviously I would’ve liked to have got the win, but there’s definitely no shame in a runner-up finish there.”

The upcoming weekend has 5j Motorsports set for a pair of events. On Friday night he plans to compete in a Weekly Racing Series Event at Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee). Depending on the weather, Saturday will either take Lowe to Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) or Blue Ridge Motorsports Park (Blue Ridge, Georgia).
