Nope.. If cars were properly teched at all events (even weekly) then most cars wouldn't have any issues.

Go down south or out west, they tech cars very well. They don't just tell them to fix it by next week.. They DQ them and tell them to get it fixed. If it is a safety issue, they don't even let them on the track to race.

I know no one thinks bodies make a different, but there are so many roofs on Modifieds that are illegal, it is crazy. If there wasn't an advantage to having more than 3 inches of roof angle (as rules state) then drivers wouldn't do it.. Some have 6-8 inches of roof angle.. Plus, since the spoiler was taken away, a lot of cars are showing up with a 1 - 2 inch lip on the back of the roof now...

Street stocks too. Stock roof height? The green street stock that ran Peter was his name. What the heck style of body was that? I mean if they want to let that slide good god can you all imagine what else is? Didnt they make a rule to where the nose piece wasnt supposed to extend past the front bumper?? On a modified?
 
I'm home and I finally got Bruce to call me after leaving numerous messages everywhere.

Jimmy made the show! I think Bruce said he started 7th and got up to 6th in his heat to make the B-Main tonight. He started 13th, got up to 12th, and finished 11th. I think Bruce said that Steve Maisel had something to do with Jimmy finishing 11th. Steve got wrecked and that put Jimmy up a few spots.

Steve Maisel started 1st in his heat, finished 3rd. He was running 6th or 7th and got wrecked in the B-Main tonight. He is out of it.

Robbie Eilers won his heat race and then won the B-Main tonight. He is in the big race too!

Now they have to run the big A-Main FEATURE tonight for the big money! I hope I got this correct. Bruce was in a hurry to get Jimmy ready for the A-Main. If he starts the race tonight he gets $750.00.

If I have this correct, Jimmy and Robbie will be in the latter half of the 24 cars for the BIG race. 12 from last night and 12 or 13 from tonight. This track doesn't publish the line-ups ahead of time or the results so I'll have to wait for them until later tonight but I will post them on here. I get them from Speednet.com.
