Can the sidebar be hid permanently similar to the old site? Everytime I leave and come back it's back on. I can't find an option.

Also, is there anything you can do about all the ad tracking software it tries to download? Not just the new site, the old one did too. Spybot is constantly catching them. I get a popup box on every page, sometimes several. Those things should be illegal!

Love the site, would just like to see these things different.

Sidebar is under QUICK LINKS above.

Spybot is only blocking the cookies that this site is attempting to write to your box.
 
I know where to turn it off but it doesn't stick. What I'm asking is should it be permanent or do we have to turn it off every time we come to the site? It remembers my logon and other options just fine.

I know about the cookies also. These are ad tracking cookies. Know one really wants them on their computer. This site tries to write many more than most other sites I visit. I just wondered if you had any control over them.

I don't have Sybot and the side bar does not stay off. I have to choose this option everytime I come to the site even though it remembers my log in name.
 
I also have a question regarding the site changes. Why am I unable to access the forums with Netscape 7.1? All of the other features of the site seem to work okay except the message boards. I get a page with all the site headings and the sidebar but no links to the forums. Is it me or is it you? I really dislike using Internet Explorer and have no plans to switch just so I can visit this site.
 
Adding an AVATAR:

Click on USER CP above. then in the left menu, choose EDIT AVATAR.

Then there is a box near the bottom of the page that says CUSTOM AVATARS.

Where it says:

Upload an Avatar From Your Computer:

click on BROWSE and select your avatar off your pc's harddrive!
 
Mr. Dearing, Any ideas as to why Netscape would not be working for me? I have checked all of my settings and preferences. I haven't found anything that would keep it from opening up. Hmmmm?!?
 
Jimmy, even though I don't have a question for you, I just wanted to say thanks for providing this site for all of us and answering our questions when we need help. I'm sure I speak for all of us. Thanks again Jimmy!
 
im not seeing this upload place? ive looked all over. is it juss me or is any one else having trouble with this?
 
I'm having trouble getting this site to work on Netscape 7.1. It is probably because I have the pop-up blocker turned on. Is this is the most pop-up laden website or what? I've haven't seen so many pop-ups since I stopped looking at porn!
 
I turned on Netscape's own POPUP blocker and the site still displays fine for me.

I do believe your video settings must be 800x600 or greater...

640x480 does give some display problems.
 
I'm runnin Netscape 7.1 and pop up blocker & ad aware and every thing works fine. But a lot of servers where having some problems yesterday chasing those new virus threats that was slowing every thing way down......I would imagine it was really affecting dial ups......
