Corona, CA (August 13, 2009) - Officials of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series have confirmed Jimmy Mars as the winner of the 27th Annual Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 Presented by Lucas Oil at Florence Speedway in Union, KY. The tire samples taken from the 28m of Jimmy Mars have been verified by an independent testing laboratory as being free of chemicals used to alter the performance of the tires used during competition at the event.

The results of lab testing of tire samples taken from Scott Bloomquist, Jason Jameson, Don O'Neal, Jimmy Owens, and Earl Pearson Jr. were all found to have no trace of chemicals used to alter the performance of their race tires as well. The results of the tests for the tire samples taken from John Mason have yet to come back from the independent laboratory.
