(Macon, IL)Justin Allgaier will return to familiar Macon Speedway on Monday, May 25 for his first appearance signing autographs as a Nascar star. Justin is no stranger to Macon Speedway, but it will be his first time back since the young star has catapulted to the Nascar Nationwide Series driving for Penske Racing in the No. 12 Verizon Wireless Dodge. Justin “Little Gator” Allgaier won his first ever feature event at Macon Speedway at the ripe old age of 12. The Riverton, Il native and son of Mike and Dorothy Allgaier has been around racing since before he was born. Justin will also be joined by Nascar stars and co-owners Ken Schrader and Kenny Wallace. Steven Wallace will also be in attendance to greet the fans of Macon Speedway. The first Night of Nascar Stars at Macon Speedway will kick off at 3 pm. The racing action that will include the NALMS, UMP Modified, Street Stocks and Hornet division will begin at 7pm. There will be an autograph session with all stars for the fans to meet and greet from 5:30 to 6:30. Tickets for the Night of Nascar Stars I are general admission and are $20.

From 1991 to 2002, the kid dubbed “Little Gator” named for his size and ferociousness behind the whell made his way up through the motorsports ranks. In 2001, as a 14-year old, Justin made his name as the youngest driver to ever advance to the A main event at the famed Chili Bowl midget event in Tulsa, OK. When Justin turned 16, he debuted in the challenging ARCA/REMAX Series. In 2005 with seven starts he won four top-five and five top-ten finishes, as well as his first “Pork Pole” award by setting a new track record at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Justin went on impressing the racing world by driving in the Nascar Craftsman Truck Series and an impressive Chili Bowl run sharing the podium with Nascar stars Tony Stewart and J.J. Yeley.
In 2008, at the age of 22, Justin had his true racing breakthrough. In 21 ARCA races, Allgaier won six. Justin also joined Penske Racing with the team he’s made four Nascar Nationwide Series starts. “We’d had our eye on Justin for some time, and Penske Racing was fortunate to be in a position to bring him on board,” said Tim Cindric, president of Penske Racing. “Roger always enjoys the opportunity to grow people within our system and we are looking forward to helping him achieve his career goals.” For 2009, Allgaier will be running a full Nascar Nationwide Series schedule.
