just wanted to see what we will have for jr karts at the rock this year i will have a jr 1 clone 2 jr 2 clones and a rookie

We would love to run at bedrock a lot more like we did in the past if jr 2 flat head & clone run apart we will come over if flathead is back at 275 will run the biggest of the two classes or both!!

We are thinking about running the jr fh & clone classes together for one or two races. They will be scored separately...IF they are turning similar lap times we'll talk to the teams and see what they want to do.

As far as weights go JR 2 FH is 275 just like always. JR2 Clone is 290....just like the show at DQ.

Call me please...I'm confused about your weight question.

We were gonna have a jr1 clone and a jr1 flat head but since combining them we will be running one of them! Can't wait for season to start

My gut says the classes will only be ran together twice at most.
So jr 2 flathead is 275 .500 blue plate & jr 2 clone is 290 with purple plate is that correct ? I think it would be great to run together for kart count but I think u will find a flat head needs 25 lbs at least! Toby are u going to dq on the 23rd we we be there we could get the overall sheets from the jr classes and compare the 15 lbs

I'm sure hoping to get down there for the races. I'd like to see the results from the features.

You think the fh needs a 25# weight break compared to the 15# in place now?

Send me a text when you get a chance....very rarely check my voice mail anymore and someone cleared by call history for me.

The clones with the same size restrictor is almost 1 hp more the flathead, i know out in westeren missouri they mix they have mixed them with a 10# weight break and no one runs a FH they are not even close to being competitive. To give the FH a fighting chance some tracks have gone to 25# to 30# weight break for the FH and shows to even the motors up. If you want the same weight rule then for Jr1 clone 375 plate FH 425 plate dyno shows .1 hp difference, Jr2 clone 425 plate Fh 500 plate give a difference .15 hp, Jr3 clone 500 plate FH 550 difference of .15 hp. The adult clone vs Fh is not even close what i have seen #30 weight break seems to even the 2 motors pretty well. Bedrock isnt the only track that is facing this problem many in the midwest are. I dont have a dog in this fight and just giving my unbias opinion on the issue at hand. I just want to see Bedrock, local tracks and karting survive.
