Highland Speedway regrets to announce that this weeks races are cancelled. Fresh dirt was brought in to improve the straightaways and ensure that we keep the good track that we have had all summer. Everyone knows that with all the rain this year, all tracks have had trouble racing.

We have had 3 wide racing all season. However we are unable to get the surface into good racing condition for this week. We will continue working it and will be ready to go for the Fair race on July 25th. Come out and enjoy the Fair this week and we will see you at the Fair race.

I'm sure it has something to do with the St Jacob Homecoming is one of the reasons. You would of thought with all the rain outs they wouldn't cancel for a homecoming. Or the other reason is all there local favorite drivers have plans
