Some of you my know my kid is a cop.. That said I have a idea to help the BACK STOPPERs a group that steps up to help fallen officers ,first responders and the like . They stepped up to help the officers family when he lost his life in the line of duty the other day.. Perhaps a local track would have a event to generate some money to help them keep up their mission . A Sunday afternoon show would work I think . The format could be worked out. Supers A&B mods . A small; purse could be paid with the rest of the proceeds going to the BACK STOPPERS --- JUST A THOUGHT

I agree Lenny, i would think a lot of people would attend a race of that nature and the drivers would be good for that idea too. My dad was a constable in St Louis County until he passed.

Kevin G. it would be nice if Tri City stepped up and made a event such as Lenny is talking about. Have a night where some of the proceeds would go to the back stoppers, invite police, fire and ems in for a special price or even free. Do some thing to recognize the first responders, such as have them come onto front stretch and introduce them. Get in touch with the local Saint Louis news stations such as 2, 4 and 5. They would take notice of such a good deed and it would be free advertisement for the track. I am sure some businesses would even come on board to sponsor individual races.

I would think a late afternoon event would be better as this deal could attract people that may have never been to a dirt race -- they may not be ready to withstand a COLD night like us normal (LOL) race folks would -- TCS was my first thought - also I55 as the officer was stationed in Affton - they could pay a small purse and trophys

Lenny my dad and I are both firefighters and if a track would do something like this we will donate 100% of our winnings from that night to backstoppers
