Will do Butch!! Have known its where abouts since 03, Just got the urge to get it while it was close. That and I have a truck cab body that is 'almost' right for it. Be on the look out for an old 406? Ford engine!! Like to stay as true to original as I can.. The cab may not make the cut... History says the car won 41 of the first 42 races.

as far as the cab, sheet metal work and you can duplicate the entire cab, might be easier and quicker then trying to adapt another cab to that shape. it looks like the main fram and all is still in good shape and may not be that difficult to restore, motor and trans and cab, fresh paint and you got a vintage!

Nice find. You may also want to check with Tubby Black and any of the other super modified drivers that may still be around. Probably before Tom Burch's driving era but he was probably around these cars when they raced.

The did use what they had back then and they made a lot happen from very little. I like that about old race cars because most everything is built and not bought.

Sometimes the stuff of legend is a lot more crude than you might think too. I've had the opportunity to check out the Dick Trickle Mustang down at Schraders' a few times and it's a pretty crude piece yet it still won over 60 features in one season, not bad.....

I love the dual shocks and bracket on the right front........car is pretty cool. Good luck with her
