Looks like Justin Allgaier will be competing with the UMP Modifieds during the DIRTcar Nat'ls at Volusia!
 
Thats great and all but does anyone else wish guys that have the money and resources like him would run a late model. Not knockin anyone for what they do just seems if they are a racer in americas top series they should be able to compete in that class. JMO of course

Always wondered why he didn't bring out the 1A LM. Not sure if he even raced a mod before he made the "big" series! LMs more dangerous maybe-liability issue? Oh well! Sure glad that he flings dirt every now and then though.
 
This is exactly why I quit going to Volusia for speedweeks each winter. The Dillion boys with grandpas money, Boyer etc. it just wasn't smart anymore. You could race most of the year at home on the same money it took to get down there and back. Plus it is much easier to be a big fish in a little pond...
 
Mods are far from a entry level class and more of a challange to drive then the LM and cheaper. Also it does bring more attention to a great class. With that said good luck to all heading south!
