[Volga, IA] - - Modified driver Justin O'Brien celebrates his 23rd birthday by launching his new web site. Race fans will be able to keep up-to-date on this young North East Iowa driver by logging on to www.obrienracing12.com.
Although the team is still ironing out their 2005 racing schedule, O'Brien will have his Dennis O'Brien Construction, Renk Seed, BMS Chassis number "12" weekly at Echo Valley Speedway (West Union, IA) on Saturday nights.
"We will run the Indee Opens," add O'Brien. "We're hoping to be able to add other specials in the area like at Cresco Speedway (Cresco, IA), Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, MN), and maybe even Farley Speedway (Farley, IA).
"I'd really like to try some USMTS (United States Modified Touring Series) stuff," O'Brien admitted. "We will know more when we see some schedules."
O'Brien started racing go-karts at age 12 (1993). He then moved to Hobby Stock at age 19 (2000) and grabbed his 1st feature win in only his 7th race, two wins total for that year. 2004 the young driver moved to modifieds, and earned one feature win this past racing season.
"I'm very excited about the new web site," stated O'Brien. "We'll be able to focus on the car now and lot Bucky Doren and the guys deal with the web site."
