Well, I wish I had a better update than last night, but I don't. No change really. He is still in a world of pain, it's still hard to breathe, he is very uncomfortable, etc. He will have another set of xrays tomorrow morning to see if his hole is sealing up. Once it seals they will remove the chest tube, and they will make sure he's breathing ok. If all is good he will be released and put on bed rest for a minimum of a week.

I was told he couldn't leave the couch once he was home, but I don't know if we can keep him out of the shop :)

I want to thank everyone again for your thoughts and prayers. From the replies on here, the phone calls, and the visitors. It means a lot to Tommy, myself, and our families. This racing community is greatest!

I will update again tomorrow evening when I get kicked out after visiting hours or maybe he will be home and posting a drug induced reply to all of you :D
