Not too many thought Keith Phillips Jr would win the heavy feature last night at JYI, but a great job of driving got him there, as he dominated the race.
A couple of cautions brought the field to him, but 2nd place Paul Boien just could not finish the pass before the checkers, and Keith came home with his first feature win at Junkyard International Raceway.
I know it made for a perfect Fathers Day present for your dad also. I saw him smiling from turn 1 to turn 3
For those of you who do not know Keith Jr, he is about to be deployed overseas to Iraq with the Army. Our thoughts and prayers go with you. Be safe and return safe.
