Kenny Wallace will be racing with the CHIEF this weekend at I-55 . Kenny Wallace is the National spokesman for the Cherokee Charcoal product line.

UMP Fans will be some of the first in the country to sample these great products, take a look at Kenny's new commercials on the Cherokee Charcoal Web site.

Good Lord man, before you make another post please get a dictionary.

Did I miss something. Wasn't Weber behind Wallace when he shoved him into the wall???? Maybe i am misremembering in the words of Roger Clemens.

Doesn't really matter if he needs it or not. Most sponsors put their name where they think it will benefit their cause the most. Its not a charity.

Who did Wallace try to stuff ? Who was the rong person he tried to stuff?
Was you there ? Or did you hear about it from the sour grape vine ???? Just curious ? It's funny cause we all see things differently- Perception I guess- 1 hand saw it one way another hand saw it another - These guys were all racing hard and put on one heck of a show - the track was awesome all nights and as far as I am concerned if Wallace wanted to tear someone up he had the chance more than once at the end of the mod feature Saturday night! Racing Racing Racing !!!!!!!!!!

That is totally uncalled for and unprovoked.

racnforfun2---I am sorry that you did not notice the sticker for Cheorkee Charcoal on the sail panel of Kenny's car on Friday night. Here is a picture of the car that Kenny is driving in the feature on Friday night:

Also, starting in early 2009, you will see commercials for Cherokee Charocal with Kenny Wallace as the spokesman. These commercials have already been taped. Kenny decided that since the Charcoal is a hometown product, and since Kenny was racing in his hometown, Kenny decided to put stickers of the Cherokee Charcoal on one of his modifieds for the Pevely RoundUp.

Kenny is very proud of his primary sponorship with Jeggs and has several associate sponsors. If you would like to become a primary sponsor or associate sponsor on the #36 Modified, please give Impressive Race Cars a call at 636-274-5577 and I will get you hooked up with the right person!

This post started out as a props for Cherokee Charcoal and the post should have stayed that way--but I believe you are the person who turned the post into something else. There was a poll last year on whether or not the locals wanted Kenny Wallace to race in this area or not. I believe it was something like 400 people said yes they wanted him to race in this area and only like 5 or 6 who said they did not want him to race in this area---I am thinking that you must be one of the 5 or 6. Obviously, you have never met Kenny. The next time you are at a one of the local tracks, Pevely, Tri-City, look me up. If you do not know who I am, have them page me. I will be glad to introduce you to him. You don't have a clue what this guy does for the community, the charities in this area, the high school he gradutaed from--Fox High School located in Arnold, MO, and several local racers such as Mark Miner, Rusty Griffaw, Conrad Miner, Chucky Milam, Ray Walsh, Billy Smith and others. Before you set judgement against him for something that happened on the track---something that had NOTHING to do with you or me---meet the man in person, talk to him, you can learn alot from this man in 10 minutes! Herman will take the time---will you?

Here is the thread from earlier this year---if I can find the poll, I will post that also:

I'm not trying to be rude, but I'm certainly not a Wallace or Schrader fan. I would rather see the local guys who don't have a ton of money out there racing. The Nascar guys are fun for Nascar night, but it's unfair competition to have someone with the experience and money to be out there tearing up local guys cars, and getting a check at the end of the night. JMO - and alot of others. Alot more than 5 or 6. I have no problem with either of them as people, but if I want to watch Nascar racers, I'll watch Nascar. I go to the local dirt track to watch some great average guys drive!

I don't think you are being rude.

However, last year Kenny Wallace asked that a poll be taking if the locals wanted him to race in the area or not--here is the result of that poll:

Alot of the Nascar drivers got their start on dirt and still love the sport! And now that some of the Nascar drivers have tried their hands at dirt who have never raced dirt before, are getting dirt cars---cause they are alot of fun!
Heck---even some of the asphalt boys are buying dirt tracks to keep dirt track racing alive!:D

Schrader and Wallace are both local guys---they just have a tempoary address in North Carolina!:D

Now, I hope you don't think I am being rude-but what is the difference between a local guy with good sponorship and experience competing against another localy guy without the good sponorship and lack of experience and tearing up local guys stuff vs nascar guy with sponsorship and experience and in some cases no dirt experiences running with the local guys with or without experience? A racer is a racer---no matter what road they travel to get to the race track!

The difference is large, to me. They don't need sponsorship, first of all, but they have plenty of money that if they tear up one of their cars, they have a back up. If they don't have a back up, they can afford anything new right away. The local, average, guy doesn't have the money to do that. They don't want their stuff torn up. It seems at times, like Saturday, Wallace tore Whaley up and thought nothing of it, but his feelings were hurt when Weber got into him. It's all racing, but it's one way when it works for them. It's just my opinion, but I would really prefer the Nascar drivers not race, although I know they have lost their Nascar rides, so they want to be able to drive somewhere. I understand they want to have fun, but it's at our guys expense, sometimes. That, and if they do race, they shouldn't take the pay. Let it pass down to the drivers who need it to put into their car for the next race.
