If it is indeed opening again, I hope the new ownership continues the early bird race. Only time I've ever physically been frozen to a seat at a dirt race.
I know it was said on this board last year while Paducah was under water that they considered temporarily leasing KLMS until the flooding had subsided, but that there was considerable work that had to be done (frozen pipes had burst, etc.). I hope someone motivated did indeed buy it and gets it back up to par. Too nice of a track to sit there and rot.

Facility is awesome. The track configuration and the resulting racing stunk. Whoever buys it needs to dig all that dirt out and replace it with dirt from Haubstadt IN. Then either narrow down the track or flatten it out. As far as the crowds go, as long as they don't serve booze the stands will never be full.
