Kevin and Tammy!!!!

Last night I went and asked for a cup of ice for my wife. My wife is a ice chewer and a diabetic and all she drinks is water. The girl behind the counter said that will be 2.00 for a cup of ice. I told her ok I still want it and explain to her she needed the ice bad. I told my wife to enjoy her 2.00 cup of ice and she said WHAT THE HELL 2.00? I told her that is what I was charged. Then she needed another cup so she could take her pills. NOW I DONT GET THIS!!!!!! They wanted to charge her 2.50 for the same size cup of ice. WTF is this?????? Kevin if you are that hard up for money then you should pan-handle on the streets. MY GOD you can go anywhere and get a cup of ice for .25 Why in the HELL would you charge so much just for a cup of ice?????????

JMO- Don't know any of the parties involved but there are many businesses that practice this. Look at it this way- that cup is gone, was that a cheap cup of ice or was it a discounted cup of soda, tea, etc.? Only one way to be sure- charge the same for all of them. Now the two different prices is another story!

Maybe the girl behind the counter didn't know what to charge so she just made up that $2.00 number. If $2.00 is really the correct amount then TC should be ashamed of themselves for such a ridiculous price.

Kevin sure could reply to the Jimmy D. thread about the officials, but doesnt have a word to say about this?? Your the boss Kevin why not explain? I know you missed the thread labeled Kevin and Tammy got it....

Did you even consider that he might want to check with his staff and investigate if this actually happened, before he came on here and responded? That is what I would expect him to do.

This is Ex-Racer's wife. I was in disbeliefe when he told me the cup of ice was $2.00. I asked how much is bottle of soda was, $2.00. A couple hours later I took my turn through the concession stand. I asked for a cup of ice (which was put in the Largest cup), I made my food selections and when I got to the middle register, the woman did not know how much to charge for a cup of ice or how to ring it up. She asked another woman, who was just as baffled. A third person (young woman/teenager) said, you have ring it up as a soda. My cashier said, 'that will $2.50 then". "for a cup of ice". "yes mam", I placed the cup of ice back on the counter, "you can keep it then". I paid for the food items and that was end of my dealings in the concession stand.

I don't expect to get ice for free anywhere that I ask for it, and have never been charged more than thirty cents.

Perhaps Tammy and Kevin will see to it that their cashiers know how to ring up a cup of ice. I find it hard to believe this wasn't possible already.

My husband did get a PRIVATE message reply from Tammy and the only feedback on that once again is I hope their cashiers know in the future what to charge for and how ring up a cup of ice.

By the way sorry Tammy but I thought it was the same size cup till my wife told me different a few min's ago

We had opened a third register for the 1st time and possibly the new cashier did not know.

I will find out and get back with you.

We will make sure it's taken care of and apologize if this happen.

I'm sure the cashier did not mean to do it.

Thanks
Tammy

Cashiers can be interesting individuals. I won't name the track (not Tri-City), but last night I made a purchase at the snack bar and when I got up to the cashier (I was the only one in line) she had a book and pencil in her hand working some sort of puzzle. I stood there for maybe 10 seconds waiting for her to check me out and the other cashier next to her said "Wha-da-ya-got"? and I paid her. I make it a point (but not yesterday) to always drop a decent tip in the tip jar and I think I would fall over on the ground if even one of them ever said "thank you".

for one Kevin doesn't run the track, Tammy does, and when it come to the officials she is the first to defend them even when there wrong, but most of the decisions made are Tammy's decisions, Like the summer nationals race when a car spun out a yellow flag was thrown for him and he ended up getting his spot back, so what does that say for the flagman, throw a yellow for a spun out car, but put him back in his spot, I'm not the only one that noticed that most of the people sitting around me noticed it too. But thats racing, and I guarantee this will get a comment.

The SummerNationals is ran by Sam Driggers from UMP we do not (TCS) make official calls or decisions regarding the LM for the SummerNationals. Next time you make a comment please know what your talking about.

Oh and by the way I do where the Firesuit in the family. Me and Delaney Harvick get our suits from the same supplier.
