I just stopped in and got some chicken. Besides a little confusion on my order........this is the best fried chicken around. Anybody who hasn't tried it needs to.
 
You know, I never knew about King Edward's Fried Chicken. It brings back memories of eating family style chicken dinners at Big Boys out that way. I wish someone would rebuild it and open it again. :(

king edwards is awesome. big boys has been in the warren county journal a couple times recently. dosn't look like there's a chance it will open again.

St. Charles is my wifes store. I get to yell at her now. LOL Just kidding, We've been married long enough we are past the yelling stage.

The final owners of Big Boys must of thought paying taxes was something that was optional :eek:… The place is still intact. Interested in a career change Moonflow? ;) I’d like to see the place open again.
 
Another success story. We had a large party catered here at work and had King Eddy chicken. Party and chicken went over huge, out of 125 pieces I only had 2. VP's kept scarfing it down....I guess I'm assured of a job for another year...lol

I FIND THAT VERY HARD TO BELIEVE. NOT THE PART ABOUT THE CHICKEN, THE PART THAT YOU AREN'T ONE OF THE VP'S???? :D

I WISH THERE WAS A KING EDWARDS OUT THIS WAY. I DON'T GET OUT THE ST. CHUCK WAY MUCH.
 
well,made my stop at the kings today as promised,they were expecting me,got my BIG ANNA NICOLE SMITH BREAST's,3 of em,and started with the crunchy coating (its the best part)then picked the bones all day while driving my roll back,when i goit home all i had was a box of bones and 3 hungery kitty's that cleaned the rest of them thar bones off real quick...lenny g.,,,ya know,i might just become a food critic (lol)
 
ok wher is this chicken place gotta go to bass pro this weekend so ill stop by and check it out can ya get me a address is it better than woody's there thats in alton gotta check it out lenny im taking your word for it and not for the kittys;)

We are closed on Sunday and open 11:00am till 7:00 pm on Monday thru Saturday. Here's how to get there from BassPro.

Continue west on hwy 70 to Zuhmbell. Go right (North) towards Lowes. Make a right turn (east) onto West Clay. Go to the third stoplight which is Duchesne and make a left (north). We are in the little stripmall about 100 yards from the intersection.
