I know how the rumor mill starts, but I recently heard that if Korte doesn't start stepping up he could be out of the Keher ride? Was just wondering if this has any truth to it. I have grown up watching Korte my whole life and would hate to see him stop running.
 
wow, this is a really positive thing to put on here. maybe you should go ask randy about this.

i dont see randy korte being out of racing, unless he decides to be.
 
Dude was out almost a year or alittle more, im sure he is still trying to knock the rust off! And if he dont, the man cant win every race, im not a Korte fan really and im glad to see him back, win or lose! If he did lose his ride, im sure he might be able to find a different one......just maybe, might be a long shot! LOL!
 
It takes time to get it going again,I doubt that Dixon will be sharp on Sat,either. BTW, how long has it been for Ed???? I think Korte's issue has something to do with the chassis or set-up.
 
That sounds just like a rumor that started with 4 or 5 guys standing in a circle speculating and swigging beer. lol
 
No way theres any truth to this. Korte is one of the best drivers in the country. He can compete with anyone and has a chance to win every time he's on the track. He could run a nationaly touring series if he wanted and run really well. He's definitely with Babb, Erb, Feger, and Shirley in the top Illini driver group
