"MIKE" KWKJ 98.5 Radio Father's Day Race Night will be on tap at Central Missouri Speedway with the Modifieds, ULMA Late Models, Street Stocks and B- Modifieds on Saturday June 16. Race fans will also have an opportunity to win special gifts for Dad by purchasing a Track Report Program. The programs can be purchased on either side of the speedway at the admission areas. The complete four-class program will roll off the line with gates opening at 5:00, hot laps at 7 and racing getting underway at 7:30.

The point's chase in each division are tight with some new leaders this week. In the Mighty Modified division Terry Schultz leads Joe Walker by just 5 points followed by Jim Moody and Aaron Marrant. The ULMA Late Models are close again with last years Track Champion Brett Rollert on top of Steven Clancy by 9 points, with Jon Binning and David Angell chasing close behind. The Street Stocks are led by Brian Johnson over Tammy Korff, Herb Danner and Chad Eickleberry behind Johnson. Scotty Martin has been dominant in the B- Modified division so far this year, but Michael Mullins, Ethan Isaacs, Bubba Kline and Brain Zielger who won the B- Mod special last week, continue to close the gap.

Fans are anxiously awaiting the annual Tom Wilson BBQ Bowl Memorial Modifed Special at the CMS high banks. On Saturday night June 30th the best modifed drivers in the Midwest will descend upon CMS for a 40 lap, $3,000 to win feature event. You never know who will show for this special race honoring the long time track announcer with drivers from Oklahoma, Iowa, Kansas and many others locations around the state. Drivers are reminded they need to have raced at CMS in the modified divison at least twice before the special to avoid the $100 entry fee.

For current and up-to-the-minute racing information you can call the track report line at (660) 747-2166. Be sure to check the track’s Website each week at www.centralmissourispeedway.net for schedule and track news updates as well as complete results and point standings in each division. We'll see you at CMS on Saturday night for the best dirt track racing around the area!
