Kyle Busch-Hornaday incident

They both have wrecked people, but can say I ain't ever seen Ron wreck someone that bad.

Not2Smart in mean fast. must thinks its ok to wreck ppl under caution like that. u cant do that because there could have been safteys crews coming out on track. ron had 3/4 of a truck lenght on kyle so kyle could have moved up 2 feet and they could have went around lapper with no problem. it was lap 15 not lap 199. Mr. Gibbs is probly had it with his attitude. FIRE Busch and hire JUSTIN ALLGAIER

I think they should add a hockey style Penalty Box near the flag stand or the announcers booth. Make any deemed violators sit in the box for the remainder of the race instead of hiding in their hauler. Let these spoiled cry babies have a taste of humility.

I agree with this one!!!!

I normally like Kyle's aggressive driving style. He doesn't want to lose any race, but this was rediculous. That kinda crap could seriously hurt someone and is not needed.

Where are the spotters on all this? We all know the tv broadcast censors cut bad language. Except Showtime's Inside Nascar. There we really hear the emotions of the driver with spotter and crew chief.... On any of these incidents (Edward's vs Keselowski, Harvick vs Busch, Busch vs Hornaday, and many more.) when it appears that the driver is looking for retaliation, we never hear the voice of reason from the team. Kyle's spotter should have been screaming, "lay off, lay off, think big picture!!!!" When you have a driver seeing the "red mist" you need the team psychiatrist (crew chief) on the team radio. Anyone who has ever held a steering wheel on a race car knows the feeling of "that SOB isn't getting away with that..." I am not condoning what Kyle Busch did... I think Nascar has this weird sense of morality and is run it like a monarchy (it's about the money not the sport), "don't do anything that we think unacceptable," or you will be banished from the kingdom.

His spotter was yelling at him "don't do it, don't do it" and afterward also asked him why he did it...

dude you are seriously distorted with your view

I am not a Kyle Busch fan, but might be now. He may have over REacted, but guys.....Hornaday is the 1 who lost control of his truck, not Kyle. If Hornaday was so worried about points racin then he should have backed off instead of taking out a "heavy hitter". You think Bloomer or Moyer wouldnt dump a guy who rubbed them the wrong way?

I feel the exact opposite of racin90. If Nascar sits a guy after the "have at it boys" comments BY Nascar then I will be officially out! It is barely entertaining anyways.

I agree with you PitBoss

First of all - I think Kyle Busch is one of the most talented drivers ever to strap into a NASCAR race car. I have enjoyed watching him race because he is so competitive. With that said - I think Kyle Busch should be punished to the highest extent of punishment ever given to a NASCAR Race Car Driver! To me this was the last straw! I firmly believe in the "Boys Have At It" philosophy but this is rediculous. With his talent, there is absolutely NO REASON that he had to react like he did. TOTAL DISREGARD for his fellow driver's safety as well as his own. His actions, IN MY OPINION, are the kinds of actions that are ruining NASCAR today. All the talent in the world but absolutely NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE! I am now thinking that he should be suspended from NASCAR in ALL DIVISIONS for at least the rest of the year and fined $1,000,000 for his actions.

Thanks for the update on the spotter. I watched a fair amount of talking heads on TV about the incident but not the spotter yelling. Well, not making excuse for Kyle, perhaps he was thinking... it's my race team, I can do what I want.... thinking? His brain was tuned out. He's a hell of a shoe, wow, what a way to blow it. He needs to go to The School of Tony Stewart Anger Management.

Lol.the tony stewart school of anger management. I agree. His spotter and i think his crew chielf where both telling him to cool off......but he did what he felt he needed to do. I agree with what Rusy Wallace said....he is racing in 3 different series. You make someone mad friday night..........sometimes that rolls to saturday and so on so forth(Hornaday was driving for Kevin Harvick.......who drives for Richard Childress..........who egged his nog earlier this year) so maybe he need to just focus on 1 series. I agree and ive said this along time.......the cup driver need to stick with cup. Jumping to a lower series(not short track dirt) only hurt the lower level drivers plus you could screw their chances for racing for a championship.

$1million dollars would seem approporiate to me if he wants to even think about racing again as a nascar driver. Like this idea!

Wonder if they even pissed tested him? I bet not cause he bring in so much money they said f k it.. good day!!!

Funny thing is now that he has seen the tape he knows he was wrong fo what he did. Bad thing is it happend at the end of the race and there was no reason not to wait untill he got out of the car. If I was a car owner in NASCAR and my driver tore up my car and others for being a baby I would make him pay for all of them and park him. That will let everyone know if you want to play with others money you pay for you stupidity.

It's always a tough call when you hire a driver to win, and he does, and he knows it but he's an A-hole.

How much crap can you put up with when you wanna win?
