Haubstadt, IN - August 27, 2014. Fans attending Sunday night’s scheduled MSCS Sprint Car race at Tri-State Speedway can expect to see the open wheel stars and cars that usually follow the series.
The $3,000 top prize and up to 70 MSCS points assure that probability.

In addition this year’s Labor Day Weekend Challenge could attract some new faces and different race teams. The “Challenge” could take on an invitational flair this season. This is because of a decision made by MSCS Officials in regards to the two series races scheduled over the holiday weekend.

In a special promotion MSCS is inviting drivers who are not currently licensed with MSCS to consider running Saturday at Brownstown Speedway and/or Sunday at Tri-State Speedway and check out the series. A special offer exists! The usual temporary permit fee of
$20 will be waived for the first 10 non-licensed drivers to register to race with MSCS each night.

The timing for this offer is opportune. Not as many tracks operate on Sunday nights. Drivers will have a holiday weekend in which they can travel. MSCS also provides $100 in tow money to offset travel expenses for competitors who do not transfer to the feature. The feature pays $200 to start! Twenty drivers will transfer from the preliminary events to start the feature.

The Open Wheel Modifieds will also be racing Sunday night. Fans in attendance will be able to step back into the past as the Midwest Oldtimers Vintage Race Cars will be on display at the track. In all the racing and display offers twice the excitement and three times the fun!

The Labor Day Weekend Challenge and Invitational is there for the taking!
