Lake Ozark MARS Roll Call

Last MARS race at Midway Kreke made the trip. This time Korte will be at Lake O. Who else is coming? I have to say that the track is much smoother than it was a few years ago. Saturday night the track was really racy. Cars were running all over the place. This Saturday should be another great show.
 
it would be nice to let a couple of the top crate runner tag the field and see how we do it would be nice for the fans to see top local crate guy run and see what he can do.it sure would be interesting.
 
the only few crate guys that could do anything would be your TOP 5 in the nation and then they still would have trouble racing those guys...... You maybe be able to do SOMETHING at Macon or maybe belleville but not at LOS......
 
Made my first trip down there this past Saturday. Very racy track, 3 grooves, features won on bottom & top. They even sell Margarita's & Double Cheeseburgers. Very nice facility.

I think the Crate cars wold have problems against the Super lates on a track that big.
 
I would imagine that with Pevely not running lates this weekend, you'll see a few locals pop up down there.

A few years ago the track was dry, bumpy and slow and a few of the Crates ran similar laps to the Supers. I went there last Saturday night and couldn't believe how smooth and racy it was. They have improved the track surface in a big way. Like Jimmymac said....cars were fast and running all over the place. Ace, you used to own a few cars and maybe you still do. If so, just have them enter but I think it's gonna be a different story than it was in 2007. I can't wait.

Thanks Moonflow! The website is now working. However, the blog has not been updated with this week's schedule. (It's blocked here at work!) We will be at Belleville for the next (2) Friday's.
