Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Missouri is unveiling their new website and we would like to invite everyone to drop by and take a look. The address is www.lakeozarkspeedway.com. Lake Ozark Speedway (LOS) construction is moving along at a swift pace. In February we were set back a little bit because of 3 weeks of frozen ground and snow, so opening day has been moved back to May15th. When finished, LOS will be the premier dirt track in Missouri, with features such as electronic timing and scoring for all classes, tied into a 10 place scoreboard - MUSCO lighting - Closed circuit TV, 5000 seats and a 300' strip in the infield for tractor pulls. May 1st will be the first "Test & Tune" day with all classes taking to the track to check out Lake Ozark Speedway for the first time. There will also be "Test & Tune" days scheduled each Wednesday after the opening day for the month of May.

The schedule is shaping up be one of the most exciting seasons ever for racing in Central Missouri. We will be running Winged 360 Sprint Cars - Modifieds - Street Stocks & Hobby Stocks every Saturday night. Along with the normal points races, there will be some special races mixed in throughout the season. The first big event will be on June 10th with the All Stars Circuit of Champions 410 winged sprints along with the Winged 360's. The Outdoor Channel will be there to televise the event on "Speed Zone" at a later date. On July 4th & August 28th we will host the Mars Late Models. The All Stars along with the Winged 360's will return on July 21. The Non Wong World Championship will be at LOS on August 18th along with the Gateway Series Midgets for what will surely be one of the most anticipated events of the summer. The Outdoor Channel will be there to tape the show for "Speed Zone". On September 4th & 5th the ASCS will be in town for the Lake Ozark Speedway Nationals. This even will pay $1500 for the preliminary and $5000 to win the "A" on the 5th. www.lakeozarkspeedway.com
