(LASALLE, ILLINOIS) The venerable LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, Illinois is gearing up for their season finale racing weekend, which will be held at the lightning quick 1/4-mile, high-banked oval on Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4. A 100-lap, $1,000 to win feature event for the Midwestern Late Models will highlight the racing activities on Saturday night. A full race program for the Late Models and the Street Stocks will fill out the card on Saturday, September 3. In addition, the Late Model and Midwestern Late Model Track Champions will be honored in a ceremony that evening.
The PolyDome WDRL Late Model Series invades the LaSalle Speedway on Sunday, September 4 with a $5,000 to win, 50-lap feature event. The Street Stock and Hornet divisions will also compete on Sunday with $500 going to the respective winner. The PolyDome WDRL Series competes around the Midwest and regular features such drivers as Denny Eckrich, Kyle Berck, Justin Fegers, Dave Eckrich, John Anderson, Eric Pember, and Keith Foss. You can count on a host of strong regional and local competitors showing up to try to take away the $5,000 from the WDRL regulars.

The LaSalle Speedway will go out with a bang over the weekend with a giant fireworks celebration on both Saturday and Sunday. In addition, a party will be thrown after the races conclude on Sunday evening. Be sure to come party with the D.J. (with Karaoke) around the bonfire on Sunday, September 4!!! Spectator gates will open for both events at 5:00 p.m. with racing to start at 7:30.
