Here's something you won't see very often. April 16,1989, Hagerstown (MD) Speedway. Match race with all 3 classes on-track at the same time. Race winner is a Hall-of-Fame member.

How times have changed... I would like to see that at Pevely with cars running today's rules
 
I've said for years that something like this would be a cool little exhibition race for a track to put on. Put a couple of cars from each class on the track together for 5 laps so the fans could really see the difference. I guess someone beat me to the idea.
 
That was a neat concept. Gotta give the promoter credit for trying something different.

Kankakee had an exhibition between a late model and a motorcycle about 35 years ago. They started them a half lap apart. Didn't take long for Jimmy O'Connor to catch the motorcycle. I don't think either racer was comfortable when O'Connor passed the bike.
