late models

call stan lester at fastrak at 1-678-935-7304 he will put the late models in there.. we need more places to run this year and to put on some touring races
 
The person(s) to talk to would be the track manager & assistant which is Jeff Canterberry & Tracy Ruch. YES Jeff did mention over the PA that Super Late Models would run in 2010 when Kenny Rumble won his feature at the end of the racing season at the Rock.

i support the track in many ways but honestly i dont think late models are the way to go just yet. stick with the classes you have and grow off those and when the time is right which you will know then lets throw in the late models. now if you was to do like a wednesday night show then heck yea run the late models too many tracks on fridays run them.
 
As much as I like late models, I tend to agree. Limited Late Models and Crate Late Models couldn't establish a strong enough foothold to maintain the classes. As Bud Man 8 says, special shows (to assess interest on the part of both fans and drivers) might be the way to go.
 
you have to have more than 4. so many tracks run late models on fridays around here. you have malden paducah belle ville and tri city. no one wants to watch 4-8 guys race it doesnt benefit the track they will lose money on paying out to those 4-8 guys. im a huge late model support but also a realist. your best chance to have a late model show would be during the week.
 
the last time they where running in frederock there was only two local guys with latemadels now we have 4 maybe 5 local guys with just two we had 8 to 10 cars some the guys we travel here to run better chance to win and if they ump better chance on points
 
Yes.. We do have that many latemodels.. And I know one of them has already decided to go to Tri-City..So we are back to 4...
